Cluain na d'Tor Garden

Today's the day ……………………… to hurry home

We were actually booked on the evening ferry from Larne to Cairnryan today - but when we woke to grey skies and drizzly weather, we decided to head straight to Larne.  The roads were empty - and very good - so we arrived just in time to change our booking to an earlier ferry.

So we've had plenty of time to catch up with what has been happening in the garden since we've been away.  There has been no rain, that's obvious, as the ground was very dry.  But things seemed to have survived - apart from my courgette plants, newly in the ground, and eaten by slugs I imagine.

I didn't take any pictures today, so I'm borrowing a couple from a  beautiful garden that we visited yesterday - Cluain na d'Tor Nursery and Garden.  We were very inspired with all that we saw there.  We've brought a few plants back with us and we have lots of ideas that we'd like to try ………………………..
