True Love

Strange sort of day. Got up early to accompany the Padre to the wedding of a colleague of his who gave up the priesthood for his love, down in Faro Cathedral. While he was in the wedding, we, and C and E, wandered around the old part of Faro. Mike pointed out this couple and chose it for my Blip today, sometimes, late at night like this, I find it hard to decide.

Gratefuls:
- a long day with our amigos, lots of time for good conversation
- as always with them, lots of good food, the highlight, tuna steaks in a family restaurant in Vila Real, served by a girl from Goiás, Brazil
- and tostas with tomato for breakfast in Rosal, Spain, where the whole town was processing out to a permanent camp they have (we'd often wondered what the deserted town of prefabs was), on horseback, carts or walking, the women dressed in those gorgeous flamenco dresses, with flowers in their hair - for the feast of San Isidro, the patron saint of farmers
