Bog garden???

When we (the Friends of Linda Vista Gardens in Abergavenny) created this bog garden, it was because it tended to be a soggy and muddy area, and we thought to make a virtue out of an annoyance. So with a grant, we had the boardwalk made, and planted up with plants tolerant of soggy conditions. We didn't expect it to be under 8 inches of water as it is today! With luck the plants won't mind, though if turns freezing before the water can drain a bit, it might stress them rather too much!
