Some Kind Of Wonderful . . . Carol King

The blip is the lovely daughter photographing something at the Met in the room with the Temple of Dendur 15 B.C
The Met is astounding for visitors from little New Zealand.  We succeeded using the subway again and wandering on 5th Avenue found a fab little place for lunch.  Crossing central park on our way back home we got caught in heavy rain but sheltered in the tunnel with others.  It's all fun  if you have the right attitude.
After a quick shower and change of clothes we made our way to The Stephen Sondheim Theater to see the Musical Beautiful.  Kathy had told us about the app TodayTix for ordering show tickets.  Low and behold it worked and we got our tickets from the guy in the red shirt outside the theater.   We had an excellent view of the stage, eight rows from the stage.  Tapestry was one of the first L.P's I bought when I was at Teacher's Collage.  After seeing this show I realise how personal the songs were to Carol King.  I had no idea.  It was wonderful and especially to share it with my wonderful daughter.  An emotional in a good way end to our day.
10 k walked today.
