Fit for a Film Set!

This pretty cobbled street in the village of Heptonstall, high above Hebden Bridge could indeed be used as a film set, and probably has been.  I'm sure MidgeholeDave and BezziePet will know.  We drove over here this morning to look at the summer alpines at Slack Top Nursery and to purchase a few for the rockery as the spring ones are now going over.

It's an enjoyable drive over via Oxenhope, with fine views, especially so in the blue skies and sunshine.  We called in at the Towngate Cafe to enjoy pie and peas before heading home.  The only down side to the outing was being bumped by the car behind at the turning circle in Hebden Bridge.  No injuries but there is a dent in the back of the car which will now need insurance company involvement etc etc, pah!!

The rockery plants have gone in, thank you Tony, and the mini meadow is beginning to recover, particularly the grasses, clover, vetch, daises and ragged robin.  I shall blip it when it comes round a bit more.
