Skimmer

Flying into the thick patch of vegetation this black-tailed skimmer didn't bank on my persistence as I hot-footed after her with my lens. 

Beautiful soft reflective wings relatively newly emerged from their larval case just glistened in the sunshine by the pond as did the wings of so very many other dragons and damsels. They were loving the heat and I was loving chasing them!
