From the studio

With Lex and Doug in Arizona packing up his Mom for the move here, I went by their house to do some laundry and take lots of photos of the garden.  But I was struck by how beautiful this painting-in-progress is, and had to share it with you.  You may remember an earlier blip in which I wrote about her finally finding herself as a watercolorist, and this is what I was referring to.  The Extra is another of her paintings that I am in love with.

It was a beautiful day to be out in the fresh air, and I enjoyed some tea on the back patio before coming home.
