Southend Pier

headed to Southend today with my mum who wanted a trip down the pier. 
We took a train to the end and had a look at the lifeboat station prior to heading back to a beachside cafe for some fish and chips. We were expecting rain but luckily it didn't start until we got back home and even had a few spells of sunshine.
