Wild Cherry

In the late morning gloom these leaves glowed against the fir hedge.

No dew again this morning, though rain was predicted. I had to take advantage of the dry conditions and get more gardening done. Believing the rain would save me from yet more aches I got stuck in. But it didn’t rain. Eventually I had to pack it in. I’m happy with what I got done, but I hope it rains tomorrow so that I can take a break.
