Life's Little Moments

Last minute shoppers...

Hubs and I awoke to a fresh dusting of snow this morning in NJ which was a lovely way to welcome in Christmas morning! Breakfast, gifts, then into the car for a drive into the City!

We are having dinner with my friend Kura shortly, so this is a quick blip. I was going to give you the tree at Rockerfeller Center, but then decided that I loved this street scene - this is quintessential NYC to me - full of street vendors exuding the entrepreneurial spirit. And in this case, appealing to those who wanted to purchase just one more gift...!

We are still trying to work out what Christmas looks like for us now that our parents aren't able to join us for the holiday. Spending the day in NYC seemed like a good choice this year - after a walk up Fifth Avenue, it's hard not to feel infused with some holiday cheer.

Our nephew (newly returned from Afghanistan) and his lovely bride are coming out to our house for a visit tomorrow - very excited to see them. We haven't seen them since their wedding in August 2011. They are on a short trip to the NY area.

Hoping that you are all enjoying Christmas with family and loved ones...

Merry Christmas!

Debbi
