Family

Had a great Christmas! Started with a long lie and breakfast in bed courtesy of Noah. He made banana pancakes as he said he wanted to make sure he showed his appreciation for everything we do by giving something back, he's such a sweetie! We all piled into our bed and had breakfast whilst opening our stockings before moving through to the living room for the main event.

This was our first truly 'Santa-less' Christmas but it didn't spoil the magic of seeing the delight on the children's faces as they opened up each present. Freya got an electric guitar and associated kit as well as the usual girlie bits and bobs (Freya style of course!) and Noah got an assortment of Lego, a keyboard and a telescope.

Freya made our lunchtime snack then it was over to me in the kitchen preparing the full dinner for Marisol, John and the kids coming over later. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner but I had cook's fatigue. We had a fun evening and stayed up in jammies, drinking tea and playing with iPads after the family had gone home. Looking forward to a long lie tomorrow before heading to my brothers for another lovely family meal!
