Countryside

Today was always going to be a relaxing one for me.  I had a dental appointment midday and when it was delayed by 20 minutes I decided to drive down to the River Otter for a blip.  This was the view looking East, it was the sky and the grasses that caught my attention.  Such beautiful weather today.  After the dentists I called in at a friends house where we watched as a blue tit fed its young in their nest box.  Then back home to finish my book for the coming book club, it was a good read, Love is Blind by William Boyd.   A little weeding on the allotment completed the day.
