Grey (Day 1491)

There was rain falling as I took the woofers up the hill this morning and I hoped that it would dry up sooner rather than later.
It continued to rain as I took stuff to the dump, and it was still raining as I got organised to take the dogs out. There was a near disaster as both dogs ran across the main road at the end of our driveway. Thankfully (and unusually) the lorry driver who was approaching wasn't speeding and was paying attention.
The walk was damp and the sky remained grey. The horses were pleased to see me, or the carrots I was carrying.
After lunch I headed to town to collect bits for a job I hope to get done tomorrow.
I am looking forward to the return of  my beautiful wife tomorrow.
