Shaldon

It rained quite heavily this morning but stopped for a while after lunch. We went out to the garden and dug some more. The clay soil was thick and heavy and it stuck to the gardening clogs I was wearing until they seemed to weigh half a ton. Anyway, after a bit more digging and adjusting the preformed liner is in, filled with water and it can settle in for a while as the clay sets firm. We'll do some more checks then to make sure it's as stable as it should be.

There's been some nice sunny weather at times and more rain at others. It was between both extremes while I was at Shaldon, a bit overcast and some spits of rain in the wind. I quite liked the elipse shaped mooring chain and decided to use it as foreground interest with my wideangle lens.
