Black Lace

Oh dear! You're going to regret that I noticed that one of the names for this Sambucus Nigra is 'Black Lace'. Unfortunately for you, that means I'm now going to have to remind you of those pop legends whose hit 'Agadoo (doo doo push pineapple shake the tree)' which got to number two in the 1984 charts.

Sorry, all that was by the bye, just to trap you into an annoying little earworm. It's really more about this variety of elder with its dark purple leaves and pink flowers, which grows in our front garden and looks so attractive at this time of year and which is my blip today.
