Small Fox

We are having such lovely weather and the bees and butterflies are also delighting in it. I have found some new things today as well. This Small Fox Butterfly I thought was a painted lady until I looked up the local species. It has been flitting around for a few days but decided the thyme flowers were worth a protracted stay, lucky for me and the camera. We also identified a sand wasp - see extra. They both look better in 'large'.
BBQ lunch then we watched Dominic Thiem, Austrian tennis player, get defeated by Nadal in the French Open. He did well for his first Grand slam Final. We missed seeing Barty win her match yesterday, unfortunately. The Canadian Formula 1 was next on the program, Vettel having another tantrum was the highlight.
