A celebration

We had our family gathering this afternoon to celebrate Manda's (6/12) and Nick's (6/5) birthdays.  We ate pulled pork burritos (the pork shredded by me,) and a wonderful carrot cake with cream cheese frosting made by Sarah and Lex.  Here you see Manda and Nick in the act of blowing out their candles.  It was good to see the girls again - I've not seen them since our May birthday party on May 12.  Jan was there but is still really feeling the chill, especially when she has to go outside to smoke. She's looking forward to the heatwave due later in the week.
