Birthday and concert

Happy Birthday to my mother in law Gill, 85 today! After a brief visit to the nursing home where we saw her husband Rob we took her back to her house and looked round the lovely gardens and made her a delicious tuna niscoise salad and had cake, face timed the kids and all sang happy birthday.

Off to Brighton where we met Rachael, Kevin, Kaitlyn and Barbara, they’d had lunch with Karen so saw her briefly. We stayed at My Brighton in the north Laines which was very pleasant, our room had a view of the rooftops and seagulls nesting.

Elton John live at the Hove cricket ground! Brilliant!! Especially loved Rocket Man and Tiny Dancer. Look at the neighbors on the balconies and roofs! Taron Egerton came on at the end for your song, great surprise.

Late night Chinese and back to bed, a lovely day.
