Sally Mair - Loving life

Danger!

This beautiful arch and notice look as if they should be in the middle of the countryside not between platforms 9 and 10 in Edinburgh's main railway station. Platform 9 3/4 perhaps?
Today we fixed up the room for our visiting Indian Bishop and his wife then I shot off to the station to pick them up. We drove around Arthur Seat before heading home to unpack. After a quick cuppa, we headed down to Cramond which was a mistake. We only made it about 100 yards up the Almond before turning back it was so cold and windy.
Haggis, neeps and tatties for dinner - which always goes down well with Indian friends as they comment that it has some flavour to it - followed by that good pools staple, rhubarb sponge and custard . Off to bed early but still managed 11800 steps which isn't bad for my day off!
