Fungi

Was horribly wet today so getting Finlay to go out for a walk this morning was a no-no - had to push him out for his ablutions!

Went to mother in law’s, it was very wet on the motorway - loads of standing water. Went for lunch and shopping as usual. When we got back to our house it had stopped raining so I dragged the dog out for a quick walk, I found this little colony of fungi in the woods. Cropped and pressed ‘Auto’ in Lightroom develop!

Then on to the studio as we have a local quilt group visiting this evening and we need to set up the studio and hoover the bits of thread off the carpet. Posting this whilst sitting down for a cuppa.

Hopefully a nice glass of red awaits us later tonight.
