Tools of the Trade

Just the sort of day for a mono. I was down in the cellar putting some stuff away when I saw the old toolbox which has all sorts of old odds and ends in it. I also recalled a photo I'd seen where an assortment of tools had raindrops standing on them so I put these items out on the patio in the rain, which perversely eased off at the time, and went for my camera. A few minor adjustments and I'd got the shot for a contrasty mono which will suit one of the topics for my photo club this month.

After having a fairly nice day yesterday, the rain came in with the evening and stayed most of the day. Flaming June? We've put the heating back on!
