New Quay

I popped into Teignmouth for a blip and took a few on Back Beach. The one I liked best in the end was this one taken from the beach in front of the New Quay Inn looking up at the buildings on New Quay.

Like most things called 'New' around here it's actually pretty old. It dates from about 1821 and was built to ship granite from Haytor Quarry to build London Bridge (the previous one that's now in Arizona).
