Spiderlings

The car is packed, Hubs is setting the alarm and comes out of the front door to find me lying spawled on the drive. Not the normal turn of events on leaving for a few days away! 

I was amazed to see this spider carrying her young on her back - at least 6 dozen of them by Hubs calculations. Not the greatest shot and I was gutted we hadn't time to do it justice. 

Now up in Seahouses and have had a lovely time photographing  the eider ducklings. More Fluffy in Extra. The view from the window with the golden sunset overlooking Bamburgh Castle and the sea is amazing tonight.
