Unexpected Encounter

Not what I had bargained on blipping today  out on the dunes just off Lindisfarne. Spinning round after I had been given the heads up by Hubs this lovely roe deer on top of the sand dunes looked down at me and I don't know who was most startled! 

One of my favourite shots was this Meadow Pipit (I think) with a beakful of grubs waiting to feed her young but not going to fly down on the floor till I had gone. Bigger beakful in Extra.
