Views of my world

Brothers

After another lazy start to the day, the children and I got ourselves organised and headed up to Glasgow to take in the George Wylie exhibition before picking up Carlos. The kids loved the exhibit and are excited about the paper boat launch on Hogmanay. It was fun to see the Arthurlie banana boats in situ too. We especially enjoyed the film room as we saw lots if George's home (which is in the street behind ours in gourock) and other connections like WW2 naval service and Naomi Mitchison (who it was fascinating to see on film).

Once we collected Carlos we headed out to giffnock for midfest with his brother and their family. M came too but the rest of the family were thin on the ground but with a lovely spare room for us to stay in the prosseco flowed, the kids had fun and we all stayed up past bed time!

Such fun!
