As it’s meant to be raining on Monday we wanted to go for a walk today.

I’m getting better but now HtP has my germs and is coughing. Hopefully the fresh air will help him.

We walked up the Birks of Aberfeldy made popular by the song written by Robert Burns. The first chorus goes.

Now summer blinks on flowery braes
And o’er the crystal streamlets play
Come let us spend the lightsome days
In the birks of Aberfeldy

The walk climbs up alongside the Moness falls and then back down the other side.

There were lots of birds to be heard and seen and not many other walkers.

The sky has now clouded over so there isn’t a sunset this evening. We are hoping that it isn’t as wet as the weather forecast says tomorrow.
