Change the name but not the habit

Today is a little different from yesterday! Cooler and tending to wetness! When I came back from the library - not too many books this time as I was on foot - a thunderstorm was brewing, so hopefully things will freshen up.

I noticed this bindweed growing on the bank just opposite the car park at McCaig's Tower. At one time all the UK bindweeds were known as Convolvulus, but now only this Field Bindweed is so called; Hedge bindweed and Sea bindweed are now Calystegia.

Just as much of a rampant weed though, if prettier than the usual white Hedge Bindweed, Convolvulus sepium. Just discovered that I Blipped this plant three years ago, in a different location.
