Peonies, again

When I blipped these peonies two days ago, they resembled a giant vanilla white meringue streaked with raspberry. Today, they're a uniformly ivory/cream colour with the merest hint of raspberry on the tips of stamens or on the back of sepals.

It's been too hot to do anything, so I haven't done anything, other than trot Basil along to Open Church for tea and chat. Len came to drive us back. Which reminds me, I must put the two jars of lemon curd in the fridge.

Should you be interested in the photos of Holme Pierrepoint Hall, which I visited yesterday, view them in the album on Flickr. And Blipfoto, please, PLEASE sort out the link insertion code. I copy and paste the link, and Blipfoto rejects it, so I have to memorise the link to type it in. Galling.
