Vuf!

I was up early to walk Bailey before it got too warm. We were out and walking before half eight but he was still puffing quite early on so we only made it around the block. He was left in the cool of the hall whilst I went into town for a bit of present purchasing - in and out of town by twenty past ten. Even more efficiently I got said present packed up and posted before lunch. The temperature by that time rendered put paid to any more activity beyond a couple of Saturday jobs. 

Bailey has spent the day trying to keep cool and was aided by his new cool bandana and towel. He kept walking away from the towel but the bandana has stayed wet for a considerable amount of time. Definitely better than a j-cloth. 

There was reading and sleeping this afternoon and a bit of sniffing at other people's barbecue smells for Bailey this evening.
