Echinacea as antidote

Still under the weather but not so bad as yesterday, so I stayed mostly inside and played with textures, texts and brushes with this morning's shot of a wild looking orange echinacea in the front garden. For the weekly alphabet challenge on Flickr we're back to A in week 27, this time it's A for Antidote. With my headcold in mind I knew echinacea/coneflower has always been used for medical purposes, for colds and for immunity and yes, it was even seen as an antidote against certain poisons, for snakebites for example. I may be adding more or change it still for this week's assignment, but this was today's work :-)

Thanks so much for all the Abstract Thursday entries, with or without waves :-) This coming Thursday, the 4th of July even, it is the very first Thursday of the new month and thus you are totally free in what kind of abstract to enter. The tag will be AT210
