Scotland Day 3

Back-blip

Norm and I headed even further north today, all the way up to Achnahaird Bay.

First stop was Inverewe Gardens for coffee and cake then we tootled up along the coast, stopping here and there (had a paddle in the sea), to Ullapool. Wandered around the little town and then gradually went all the way up to the lovely unspoilt beach at Achnahaird Bay. Called for a drink at The Summer Isles Hotel afterwards before heading back to Ullapool for fish and chips. Didn't get back to the hotel until quite late - we were both shattered after a very full, enjoyable day. I love Scotland :-)
