Scotland Day 4

Back-blip

We were meant to be having a quieter day but still ended up doing quite a bit of meandering. 

Started off at Inverewe gardens again for coffee and cake then made our way up to Mellon Charles (love that name!) because there's a perfumery there... it was closed on Mondays, harrumph! Went back down to Gairloch for some lunch and a wander around. Discovered Hillbillies bookstore and cafe which was a right find and a half, I could have spent both hours and a fortune in there!

Went to The Old Inn at Charlestown for dinner in the evening. It was very nice and the young lady who served and looked after us was so lovely (liked her straight away because she found us a quiet table in a very busy pub! :-)) Had a wander in the harbour afterwards and took some photos... saw a heron too.

Another ace day :-)
