When In Burlington...

... it has to be a Ben & Jerry's! So many more flavors (ha) than back home.

So our stay at Mad River Barn included breakfast for once, and great it was too.... and yes we got up in time for it! Did I say we have to come back here? We drove up to Burlington which is on the banks of Lake Champlain. We spent a while walking about here in the glorious heat so naturally an ice cream where it was invented had to be done. Then we began a long drive through Vermont and New Hampshire to Concord. The journey was again lovely and varied so there are photos of the Vermont State Capitol building in Montpelier, a Big Barn with a Big Hole in it, and a bridge with a roof, but much cuter than the one yesterday.

Our last night over here... but almost a full day to fill tomorrow before our flight.
