Perth Skyline

Another hot day in Perth today but the airconditioner worked a treat and I didn't venture outdoors much during the day. At 6pm I decided to drive to Kings Park which is only a few kilometres from home, and photograph Perth City skyline. The BH Billiton building (tallest building) was recently completed and most people I speak to find it a blot on the skyscape and wonder why the City of Perth approved this design (I'm assuming that is the City Council has jurisdiction over the development of the city). I'm not sure if people are just obverse to change or if it really is an eyesore. Will we come to love it as it becomes more familiar. Time will tell.
