Dessert

What a frustrating day we had.   Somebody was supposed to come and replace our floor tiles.  We got up early and made sure that everything was ready for them.  Then we waited...and waited.....and waited.  As you may have gathered no one arrived.  

Eventually we gave up waiting and went for a swim.  We were just drying off when hubby looked up and noticed someone walking towards us.  He was just about to remark that the person bore an uncanny resemblance to a friend who used to live here when I realised that it was in fact our friend.  He was living in Vietnam but has decided to come back to Chiang Mai.  The strange thing is that the condo that he had originally is available so he will be moving back into it.

Later we had Indian food for dinner.  We were presented with this dessert by the chefs.  They make beautiful gulab jamun.  It's very tempting to order a full portion.
