Kniphofia.

While I was prepping the Lodge on Saturday I did a multiple exposure of one of the "red Hot Pokers" flower.  As a boy I only ever knew them as "Red Hot Pokers".

Out at the Lodge mowing the lawn I took some straight shots of the flowers.  Nothing else I took duringt he day appealed to me as much.  So today's blip is a simple straight forward shot of the Kniphofia.

Kniphofia are members of the Asphodelacea, the only other plantknow with the  I name Asphodel is the Bog Asphodel found in boggy parts of the fells.  Strangely the Bog Asphodel isn't a member of the Asphodelacea.
