Poppies in the Verge

Modern farming methods seem to limit the likelihood of poppies appearing within a cereal crop these days.  Still at this time of year they still pop up along the verge and margins of fields.

I was out relatively early, before it got too hot and found these poppies alongside the road with a low wall sheltering them.
