Day 20 South African Diaries

Although we went on a game drive this morning hoping to spot lions that are in the reserve, we only saw giraffes (see extra, also showing one of our vehicles). Just before lunch we heard a loud tapping in a tree near the lodge, a beautiful small, juvenile, woodpecker was practising making holes just above our heads!

Shopping afternoon off and hopefully an early night tonight as we are leaving at 05:15 in the morning to go to Kruger again.
