The 'Poppy' Line

The North Norfolk Railway (known affectionately as 'The Poppy Line') was living up to its name today.  I don't know about where you live, but it seems to have been a really good year for poppies here, they seem to be in abundance.

B, H and I walked the path through Sheringham Park to pretty Weybourne Station, where we had a mug of coffee from the station buffet and shared a seat on the attractive platform.  This station is so beautifully maintained and cared for by the excellent volunteers, and is set in a natural valley, which makes it my favourite station on the line.

The extra is an 'impostor in the crop', some pretty tufted vetch amongst the barley.
