Arranging

We spent the morning hanging the smaller paintings and re-arranging them. New walls - new paintings arrangement. Much more success than the big one - no big holes in the wall, and only tiny pin pricks where the odd mistake was made.

But the main change was in the shelving. They were put up by the previous owners for CDs, and so, really, weren’t ideal for anything else. This has bugged JR since we've lived here, and so we took out the extra shelves - wish we'd done that before the painting, as there's a bit of touching up to do now.

We also moved the Bose speaker, which JR did not like on view. But she did work hard at screwing in one of the spare shelves down near the floor. All sorted!

JR and Archie went up the hill, while I went down to our local (wonderful) hardware shop to get plate hangers. It's an amazing wee shop, stuffed to the gunnels with handy things that you didn’t realise you needed! Then I watched tennis!

Check out the old set up.
