Quod oculus meus videt

Biddulph Grange

A cracking day, out with friends we've known since before we were married.

We started at Biddulph Grange gardens, a National Trust property, just outside Stoke on Trent.  Had a great 4 hours looking around, though the highlight for us all was the enchanted woodland where we shrugged off our adult sensibleness and played along the various balancing rails and paths, stepping stones and swings.

Then it was off to Eccleshall for a meal and then joining in with a quiz, organised by one of our young relatives, who is raising money for a trip to Grand Cayman, where she will help support the local girl guides of the region.

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable day, with great company and plenty of laughs.
