Undercover

A fine sunny day; first activity a long overdue trip to the dump aka the Seafield Recycling Centre. After months of work it’s opened in its new configuration. At the risk of sounding like a grumpy old pensioner, what a piece of nonsense - they’ve hugely reduced the drop off area so you have to queue. Genius.
Back to clear up the area beside the shed and then whooo hoo, the shed itself. With my new Bluetooth earphones. I know, that’s not easy to clean a shed with.
Then, boat victualled, I watched in dismay as the sky darkened and the wind dropped as JS was on his way for an evening sail. Ach well, the lad got shown over the boat, and we made it out the harbour where there was sufficient breeze to actually make way against the tide. So we cracked open a suitable beer (extra!) - then back to the pontoon to play - there’s a boom tent which we expertly rigged. More beers! Tortilla and ginger cake; and a good catch up. We even had a visitor who clinked her way along the pontoon. And soon it was almost dark! It was very like being wee boys. It’s a gang hut, not a Wendy house.
