Storm at low tide

Wind, rain and fog crept, and swept over Machias Bay and the tidal Machias River all day. We spent the morning and early afternoon driving C to the bus in Bangor so she could wend her way home to New Hampshire after her fun week with us. We came home and turned on the electric fireplace and had a cozy and quiet afternoon as the rain fell outside.
