Brockwell Park: Skipper on Phlox

Sweeter skipper and pearlier Phlox in large.
Extras:
Honey bee on red Dahlia (1/3)
Pretty Polish cygnet sailing

I thought that I'd be posting a macro of a snail from below (taken through a window) in the morning, but then my mother and I went to Brockwell Park in the early afternoon to see the swan family (with their five big silky cygnets, both pale and typical) and to poke around the walled garden. The garden was looking rather fine, with lots of showy blooms out and lots of pollinators flitting about.
I found some of my other shots more satisfying (technically), but this adorable skipper was the creature that I was most pleased to see.

Others are on this page (or right from Supersnail on window)
