Uist Hills

There are few places I love more than beautiful South Uist.
The light changes constantly, often due to the unpredictable weather, and every corner provides a view that takes your breath away.
Sometimes it feels like a sensory overload.
The house felt busy and a bit frenetic this morning as people came and went, saying hello and saying goodbye.
By late afternoon, I needed time by myself so went out for a walk to enjoy the late afternoon sun.
I love this view over Loch Druidibeg towards Hecla (606 metres), Beinn Corodale (527 metres), and Beinn Mor (620 metres) .
Quintessentially Hebridean and one of my favourite views.
