Magenta Eruption

Lovely soft light catching the hostas in the border on a warm and calm evening. The pale magenta flowers, bursting into full bloom, cascading out of the shade towards the light, stand out dramatically against the dark green foliage behind them.

Aside from the complimentary red/green colour combination, I also liked the vertical stalks in contrast to the organic shapes of leaves.
