Last Stroll in Prague

Our last morning in Prague for this visit and we decided to walk to the river and do a circuit of Na Kampa Island to see the sights from a different point of view. It was pleasantly warm so a few folks were out in the paddle boats.

Back along Narodni we called in at the Louvre Cafe, our favourite eating place, and had a good old cup of tea before collecting our bags from the hotel and heading across the road through ‘Sherwood’ Park (named by the locals because of the bandits who come out after dark, but a sad place through the day with homeless and disabled folks asleep on the grass) to the station for the Airport Express Bus, only 60CK (£2-ish) and half an hour to the airport.

We are now sitting waiting two hours before we can check-in, aargh- why do these airports all operate differently?!

Na shledanou a děkuji to Prague for this visit!
