"Pied Beauty"

A pair of pied wagtails were fluttering and calling when we went for our early walk this morning. I've posted one as they're such jaunty little birds.

Ollie dog and I went to Panshanger Park this afternoon. I felt a bit sorry for her as when she got to the Dog Dip, which she adores, she was snapped and snarled at by a Labrador. It was with two women, an older woman and some children. I told Ollie to stay close to me, which she did very obediently, but it really spoilt the fun we usually have there. When we left they shouted their thanks to me - I wasn't happy.

I spotted a bird flying up into a tree by Riverside Cottage. It was a little owl. (Extras)
