Life through my eyes

Life in a goldfish bowl!

This morning Mum and Dad came to help assemble the Blagdon Affinity Grand Oval pond that had arrived yesterday. As so often the instructions were not that easy to make sense of but we made it, although we did have to take it apart several times!

The goldfish has been transferred from his very small pond and seems happy in the new home. It is nice looking out from the kitchen and seeing him swim past the windows. It was quite a good kit as we had the filter, fountain, UV filter etc. were all included. Tomorrow we hope to buy some fish.

My extra today is bad news (that we had the bump yesterday) and good news, good news. One is that the dash cam did record the crash in full, and you will see from the size of the pick up and his tow bar I really expected serious damage, and that AZ have been encouraged to cough up the money we lost on our redundancy payments. The union have fought hard and it seems the articles in The Times and being mentioned in Parliament have had the desired outcome. I can't say how huge a relief this is. When I saw it on WhatsApp I thought it was a joke and had to go to LinkedIn Avlon group to double check.
