Perspectives.....

Our second day in Edinburgh. We walked all the way along the Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. That was our first place to visit. What we really liked was that most people had opted for the audio guide, so it was so quiet as you walked round. Everyone was listening rather than talking! Which for me was a much better experience.

We next walked back into the city centre to the National Museum of Scotland. We went to see the exhibition - Wild and Majestic: Romantic Visions of Scotland. It was interesting to see how and why the origins of the ideas around Scottish culture started and continued.

I'm no great street photographer but visiting tourist sites does give you very easy subjects to try it out. The 2 extras were taken in the abbey at Holyroodhouse, and inside the museum. Sight-seeing is tiring!
